Friday September 23, our students and staff joined the province to celebrate Franco-Ontarian Day. Dressing in green and white, students celebrated the language and french culture we are so proud to have in our schools! Nous sommes vraiment fière de nos élèves qui continue leurs études dans en francais et anglais. Bravo!

2016–2017 School Year Calendar

2016–2017 School Year Calendar

At the February 23, 2016 NPSC Board meeting, the School Year Calendar was recommended and approved by the Board of Trustees. The school year will begin on September 1, 2016 for staff and September 5, 2015 for students. The school year would end on June 30, 2017 for both students and staff. This recommendation has been approved by the Ministry of Education. Please see the attachment below for more information. We would like to thank all parents, community members and staff for their participation.

International Day of Peace

International Day of Peace

On September 21, students and staff across the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board celebrated International Day of Peace. Students created peace posters, hosted smudging ceremonies, volunteered at the Gathering Place and participated in a mass. We are pleased to see such beautiful displays of peace in each of our schools.

Mental Health Update - Summer 2016

Student Support Services has released the Summer 2016 Mental Health update, highlighting many successes with student well-being.  The newsletter is a source of new learning with regard to positive mental health for all.
