Special Needs Children
Classroom teachers develop program accommodations and modifications through Individual Education Plans to meet the needs of all identified students within their regular classrooms. Children who require resource assistance are intergrated within their regular classrooms. The Classroom Resource Teacher (CRT) works directly with the child in the classroom or assists the child's teacher in adapting program requirements.
Literacy Focus
School staff are continuing to implement the Balanced Literacy Framework to further develop the reading and writing skills of our students.
Computer Technology
Computers are available in every classroom and computer technology is integrated into student programs. Students and staff also have access to two mobile lab labs and SMART boards.
Co-Curricular Program
Our Lady of Fatima School encourages students to participate actively in the life of our school beyond the classroom. Co-curricular activities include:
